Please note, the units we sell are not cable descramblers. They are cable converters. They can be modified into being cable descramblers by the end user if he/she wishes to install an Avenger MX Video Board. We do not sell or stock Avenger MX Video Boards nor do we preinstall them into our cable converters. If you wish to purchase an Avenger MX Video Board, please try searching Yahoo or Ebay. Our warranty does not cover the installation of the Avenger MX Video Board into our units and/or the attempted operation of our units with an Avenger MX Video Board installed.

Since your cable company may have no way of knowing that you are using your own cable equipment, it is your responsibility to notify them. The purchaser must comply with all local, state, and federal laws regarding the ownership of cable TV equipment. You are required by law to pay for all the services you receive. Theft of cable services is illegal! Owning a descrambler does NOT give you the right to receive channels without paying for those channels! In purchasing any cable equipment, you agree that you currently subscribe to full cable service, and would like to own your own equipment to keep from paying rental fees, and/or wish to take advantage of special convenience features offered by the cable box. Furthermore, you agree to get the full written consent of your cable company to use this device in your home. Theft of cable service, including viewing pay-per-view and premium channels, is illegal without paying for these channels! Any purchaser of CATV (Cable TV) Equipment Products is NOT authorized to use the equipment on any CABLE TV system without their local cable companies' specific authorization. The purchaser is required to notify their local cable company and obtain permission for the use of the equipment prior to installation. Alternative Cable does NOT advocate the THEFT of cable services. Even though laws regarding the sale and use of cable television equipment vary from state to state, there are FEDERAL, STATE and LOCAL laws prohibiting theft of cable services which carry substantial criminal and civil penalties. Cablescore.com assumes NO RESPONSIBILITY for claims arising from the use or the resale of equipment.

The seller is selling you a cable convertor so that you can:

1) Own your own equipment to reduce or eliminate your monthly rental fees and possible equipment damage charges.
2) Take advantage of the latest technology in converters and enjoy extra features that enhance your viewing pleasure.
3) Use the equipment as a 2nd or 3rd setting when you are already fully activated and you wish to view programs on more than one TV.

NOTE: The seller does not sell such equipment to allow the viewing of premium channels without paying the proper fees to the cable service provider. The law prohibits the reception of signal and the viewing of premium channels without proper payment. Since your cable company has no way of telling that you are using your own equipment, it is your responsibility to notify them of that.

Test kits (Including our rft-plus, rft-dam, and the rft-pio cable TV converter test devices ) are sold for educational and testing purposes only. Testing devices, such as the rft-plus, rft-dam, and rft-pio are intended to be used on equipment that is privately owned by the purchaser. Any use contrary is not authorized by us. You must have permission to test a cable box that is not owned by you! It is illegal to test a cable box that you do not own, unless you have permission from the cable company to do so! Our kits and TV test devices are for educational and test purposes only!

The sale and operation of this type of privately owned cable television equipment is not only absolutely 100% legal, but is protected by federal law (FCC Telecommunications Act of 1996).

By buying this equipment you agree that you are subscribing to full cable service and that you will pay for all services you receive. The use of this equipment is for the sole purpose of owning and not leasing this equipment Any unauthorized or illegal use of this equipment is strictly prohibited.
